Event 2 was soo much fun that we needed a playoff hole to find a winner. Santa Anita Golf Course was welcoming to large gathering for our 2nd event of the year.

Found in the city of Arcadia right next to historic Santa Anita Park brings us a good course that is challenging to any level of player. From its elevated greens, to hill filled fairways and strategically placed bunkers, causing headaches and heartaches through the weekend event.

We found multiple players scoring under par in this one including Jose Segura with (-6) and Tony Hernandez with (-1), and leading the way in this fun course was two others; Lionel Cardiel and Matthew RIco with (-9). Matthew was able to pull off a 1-hole playoff to capture his first ever event win, after coming off a Match Play Division 4 win, Matthew is showing strong play early in the year.

RGCA will be taking a week break before returning to one of the more challenging courses on 03/06/22, and playing at Moorpark's Tierra Rejeda course. See you at the course soon brothers.
